TBILL Launch
Since the initial launch of TBILL.io, DeGuard and the team behind GPooL have TBILL paving its way into De-Fi, while moving the Theta network forward. While we were all enjoying our winter holiday parties, the GPooL team was working overtime to launch ThetaCash (TBILL) at the end of December of 2021. GPooL’s discord channel was buzzing with news of the launch and excitement all around. Early investors had watched the YouTube video describing in detail, TBILL and all the future plans GPooL has for its rebasing token and its upcoming metaverse. Even though some may have been dozing off during the informative video, many took note of the vision and eagerly awaited the launch of this life changing rebasing token within the discord channel. As soon as TBILL launched, many bought their share utilizing ThetaSwap.
Staking Activated
Buyers kept coming, GPooL kept coding, and after a 30 hour delay from their staking target, TBILL investors finally saw that green button light up, “Activate LP Staking”. It was an exciting day for everyone within the newly forming TBILL community. Rewards generated every 10 minutes and at midnight UTC TBILL rewards were hitting MetaMask wallets all over the world. Investors were earning 50% APR on both TBILL and Tfuel and every day there were discord discussions wondering when they would see the very first TBILL rebase. A short time after staking launched, early investors, discord junkies and NFT fans were given a gift. Investors knew after 180 days from staking they would receive their first TBILL NFT Multiplier, but they did not expect to be gifted a unique TBILL NFT Multiplier so early on just for hodling TBILL and another for lurking in discord channel.
TBILL Community NFT Multipliers
During the waiting period for liquidity pool staking of TBILL, discord was getting antsy. They all knew it was coming, excitement was brewing and DeGuard and the team loved the commitment. As a reward for everyone’s patience and belief in the project, it was announced on TBILL Twitter and GPooL discord channel that early members would be airdropped TBILL NFT Multipliers. The first to launch was GPooL Patreon TBILL NFT Multiplier, reserved for those who were long time supporters of the GPooL staking service for Theta and Tfuel. The Lurker TBILL NFT Multiplier was next, released for those constantly lurking and commenting in the discord feed for news of the liquidity pool staking launch. And lastly, Hodl the Line TBILL NFT Multiplier was sent out to those who discovered and purchased TBILL shortly after launch and patiently awaited LP staking. This first gift to community members was the first sign of a strong cryptocurrency project who values its community. The creators behind TBILL believe in their project and work everyday to strengthen the foundation and support the growing community.
GPooL Sponsors USA Olympic Alpine Skier Paula Moltzan
As the GPooL and TBILL teams began expanding and building more, during the 2022 Winter Olympics, it was announced that GPooL was a new sponsor of USA Olympic Alpine Skier, Paula Moltzan. The GPooL and TBILL teams took to Twitter to encourage the community to cheer her on as she skied down Giant Slalom, finishing 12th overall for those two day races. GPooL was proud as she continued to represent America, helping USA reach the semifinals of the mixed parallel slalom. USA finished 4th overall and this success has propelled Paula forward to the World Cup Circuit. Thrilled to become a sponsor of Ms. Moltzan, GPooL is hopeful that providing support will raise awareness to the world of not only GPooL but TBILL, Theta Network and crypto as a whole.
TBILL and OpenTheta raise money for a good cause
With GPooL and TBILL making noise within the Theta Community, members who earned Patreon, Lurker and Hodler NFT Multipliers began to realize some major rewards and felt the pressure to see more of these money makers in their wallets and those who missed out desperately wanted in. The TBILL team knew they needed to address this issue which propelled a great synergy with OpenTheta. OpenTheta is an NFT Marketplace within the Theta Ecosystem where people can buy and sell NFTs, like TBILL NFT Multipliers, using Tfuel as currency. With this new relationship, DeGuard and OpenTheta determined the best way to host a secondary NFT marketplace for TBILL NFTs would first be to release a new line of TBILL NFT Multipliers. Launching a Gworld NFT Landing page on OpenTheta.io. DeGuard and the TBILL team put up 6,000 TBILL NFT Multipliers for sale as a way to engage community and support a charitable cause. Aside from the fact that these would be bought up just because of the value they bring to a TBILL holders investment, 60% of sales earned from these TBILL NFT Multipliers would be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. On Twitter and Discord, it was expressed that this was a charitable cause close to the hearts of DeGuard and the TBILL team, as several of the members are veterans and continue to seek ways to give back to their veteran community. There were 3 versions of the NFT Multipliers, the 2x NFT Multipliers on 100K TBILL were completely sold out within the 10 days of sale. Many sales were also made from the 2x NFT Multiplier on 500K TBILL and the 2x NFT Multiplier on 1M TBILL. The total amount raised as a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project was over $3.3 million USD. This was a very memorable accomplishment for the TBILL team, especially so early on in the project. Upon completion of the Wounded Warrior TBILL NFT Multiplier sales, OpenTheta launched the secondary market for investors to list their TBILL NFT Multiplier under Gworld. With the open sale of TBILL NFT Multipliers complete, secondary sales of these NFTs have substantially appreciated, currently many are listed and selling for more than 6x from mint price. This is not an easy buy for many, but GPooL is creating a few more opportunities for community members to be able to participate in TBILL NFT Multiplier staking.
TBILL Meme Contest
TBILL Twitter and GPooL Discord announced they would be hosting a TBILL Meme Contest. 3 winners 3 prizes, for the best TBILL Memes with the most votes. GPooL’s Discord opened a TBILL meme contest channel where meme creators are to upload their creative memes relating to TBILL. The event ends on April 1st and it is up to the Discord community to cast their votes for the best TBILL Memes. There are 3 meme winners, first place will earn a Wounded Warrior 2x 500k Platnium NFT Mutliplier, second place will earn a Wounded Warrior 2x 100k Gold NFT Multiplier and third will earn the Proof of Lurk 2x 30,000 NFT Multiplier. The memes have gotten better and better since the launch of the TBILL meme contest and can be viewed on the GPooL Discord, TBILL Twitter and are beginning to pop up on the Gworld Ecosystem Instagram page.
AMA Interview
Since launch, TBILL has really gotten the community talking. Investors are earning high APR and APY rewards and seeing incredible growth rebasing offers. They’re finding many fun opportunities to earn NFT Multipliers which boost the interest earned on their TBILL. There are still many questions asked on GPooL discord and TBILL Twitter that may be answered in the upcoming AMA with DeGuard and myself.
